ATS Resume Checker
Paste your resume text below and get instant checks: standard section headings, contact info, quantified bullets and length. Everything runs on your device — your resume is never uploaded anywhere.
Heuristic text checks only — no tool can guarantee how a specific ATS parses a specific file. Formatting traps (tables, text boxes, columns, images) are invisible in pasted text; keep your source document single-column and graphics-free.
Frequently asked questions
Is my resume uploaded anywhere?
No. The checker is plain JavaScript running in your browser. The text you paste is analysed on your device and never sent to a server — this site has no backend, no analytics and no tracking.
Which section headings do ATS parsers look for?
Standard ones: Summary, Experience (or Work/Professional Experience), Education, Skills, Certifications. Creative headings like “My Journey” can cause content to be misfiled or dropped.
What is a quantified bullet?
A bullet that states a result with a number — “Reduced fulfillment cost per order 18% by renegotiating carrier contracts”. Numbers are the fastest evidence a recruiter can scan. Aim for a figure in most experience bullets.
How long should a resume be?
For most professionals one page (roughly 400–700 words); two pages with 10+ years of relevant experience. Beyond that the problem is recruiter attention, not parsing.
