Good to know: Etsy computes processing and Offsite Ads fees on tax-inclusive order totals and includes gift wrap in the transaction-fee base, so real statements can run slightly above this pre-tax calculation. Currency conversion, Etsy Plus and shipping labels bought through Etsy are not included. Etsy is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. This tool is not created or endorsed by Etsy, Inc.

Frequently asked questions

Which fees does this calculator include?

The four core selling fees: 6.5% transaction fee on item price + shipping, payment processing (3% + $0.25 at US rates), $0.20 listing renewal per unit sold, and the Offsite Ads fee capped at $100 per order. All rates are editable above.

What is the Offsite Ads fee and the $100 cap?

When a buyer clicks an Etsy-run ad on an external platform and orders within 30 days, Etsy charges an Offsite Ads fee on that order — 15% for shops under $10k in 12-month revenue (participation optional), 12% above (mandatory) — capped at $100 per order.

Why is my real Etsy statement slightly higher?

Etsy computes processing and Offsite Ads fees on tax-inclusive totals and includes gift wrap in the transaction fee. This calculator works pre-tax, so it can run slightly below your statement.

Are these the current rates?

Defaults are Etsy's published rates as of early 2026 (US processing rate). Rates vary by country and change over time — edit them above and verify at etsy.com/legal/fees.
